The future of the environment is also your future!
Studying the environment in its various dimensions is essential for promoting and managing nature in a context of landscape alteration and changes in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, for monitoring natural processes and the impacts of human activities (land use, pollution, urban development, climate change), and for assessing ecosystem services while fostering the development of nature-based solutions.

The Department of Science and Technologies for the Environment organises and manages two degree programs:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences (L-32): for more information about the program, please refer to the Sapienza catalogue.
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Monitoring and Restoration (LM-75): for more information about the program, please refer to the Sapienza catalogue.
