Department Governance Structure
In accordance with the Statute of Sapienza University of Rome and the departmental regulations, the governance of the Department of Environmental Biology(DBA) comprises the Director, the Executive Committee, and the Department Council (CdD).
Supporting the management and organizational activities are:
- the Administrative Delegate Manager (RAD),
- the delegates for teaching, research, and IT,
- the local safety officers,
- the library director,
- the Teaching Area Councils (CAD).
The Director is the legal representative of the Department and ensures its autonomy and cultural unity. In daily operations, the Director is supported by the RAD, who oversees the administrative office and coordinates the administrative and accounting activities of the Department.
